To BYO or Not BYO

We're happy to announce that we no longer have the $10 corkage fee. Now, you have the choice of bringing that special bottle of wine you've been wanting to open with some great food, or order tastes of various wines from our glass wine list. Best of all, you can do both! We still have our modestly priced glass and bottle list along with our bottled beer selection.

French Grapes. Made in Italy?

Join us for an interesting look into how some of the great French varietals are being made in Italy. Federico Dall'Olmo of The Artisans Cellar will be our guest for the evening and he'll be pouring some fantastic wines from some of Italy's best wine makers. Federico is a very passionate, Bologna native who lives, eats, and sleeps Italian wine. His idea to showcase the French grapes being made in Italy is a great one and we are going to match some pretty fun food with it! The dinner will be four courses for only $60 including wines. Seating times will be 6:00 and 8:30. The date is Monday, April 30th. 215-735-4900 for reservations.

Pig Dinner Road Show

For the past three years we have been hosting a crew of some of Philadelphia's funnest and most talented chefs for a six course all pork dinner madness here at Meme. Well this year we are taking that show on the road to the legendary James Beard House in New York City. Wednesday June 13th David will be carting Michael Solomonov, Terence Feury, John "Chainsaw" Taus, Jennifer Carroll, Peter Woolsey, and Bar Boulud sommelier Michael Madrigale to 12th street to stir things up in New York a little and you can join them! This is a great excuse to come experience the James Beard House and be a part of the James Beard Foundation. There will be a one hour wine and hors d'oeuvres reception followed by a five course sit down dinner with wines included. For more details www.jamesbeard.org under "June events." And for reservations call 212-627-2308 and say you are a friend of chef and the code word is "wasabi" to recieve the mmber price of $130 per person. Non member price is $170.
