The Chefs

Michael Solomonov

Chef owner of Zahav has displayed his talents in new American, Italian, and now his native Isreali cuisines. His restaurant Zahav has gathered nothing but great press and raves from everybody I've ever met that has been there, including myself. Quite possibly the best lamb shoulder I've ever had! And you know this guy can cook if he's winning Food and Wine's best dish of the year with fried cauliflower.

Pierre Calmels

Chef owner of Bibou is a veteran of Michelin rated restaurants from Lyon to Reims before deciding to come to New York and sous chef at Daniel. Pierre came to Philly a few years and was chef of Le Bec Fin and recently broke out to open Bibou a small byo with wife Charlotte and it looks like there is no stopping them! While Pierre is doing his thing...I'll be taking notes, and from Charlotte as well while she is patrolling the floor.

Peter Woolsey

Chef owner of Bistrot La Minette a native Philadelphian who has traveled and cooked his way through France, New York and Philly will be displaying his pastry skills. I'm not envious of having the task of creating a pork dessert, but the first thing he said to me was "who is doing dessert?" I said uhhhhh....you! He is very excited and I'm confident the diners are going to end their meal on July 28th in a way not all to common, but enlightened to say the least. Don't bank on bacon creme brulee, because this dude is coming to play. For real.

Terence Feury

A new face to our pig dinner, but certainly not to our restaurant scene. After sous chefing at Le Bernardin in New York City, Terence became chef of the legendary Striped Bass in Philly where he kicked all kinds of ass. Now Terence helms the chef position at yet another Philadelphia legend, Fork. We are lucky to have this guy in our kitchen. We'll get pictures.

Jennifer Carroll

Jen is an awesome cook and a true warrior. She has honed her skills in Philly, San Francsico, New York, and now back home to Philly as she heads Eric Ripert 10 Arts Bistro at the Ritz Carleton. She has been raking in awards for her clean approach to New American cooking. You may have seen her on that TV show Top Chef?

David Katz & Crew

Chef owner of Meme Restaurant. Myself and my crew are realizing we can't be bringing a knife to a gun fight so we will be doing all we can to keep up with the hors d'oeuvres for the night. One thing we'll promise you is that you WILL be hit right in your face with some bold pork flavors before these all stars even start to display their dishes. It's all about pork on July 28th and we aren't starting you off soft.
